      Winsound.SND_ALIAS

The sound parameter is a sound association name from the registry. If the registry contains no such name, play the system default sound unless SND_NODEFAULT is also specified. If no default sound is registered, raise RuntimeError Do not with SND_FILENAME.

SND_ALIAS is one such flag used in the PlaySound function, which can be interpreted as a control panel sound association name.

Window system has certain playsounds.



            PlaySound() names                                 Corresponding Control Panel Sound name

        'SystemAsterisk'                                     Asterisk
'SystemExclamation' Exclamation
'SystemHand' Critical Stop
'SystemQuestion' Question
'SystemExit' Exit Windows


If the sound name is not registered, the system default sound is played unless SND_NODEFAULT  is specified.
