Python platform.uname()




Description: 

       The uname() function returns a tuple having six attributes that store information regarding the system. Instead of using a separate function to access the information, by using it, we get whole information in a single command.


Attributes returned by uname():

system- Name of the system/OS.

node- Name of computer's network.

release- System's release.

version- System's release version.

machine- Type of machine.

processor- Processor name of the system.



Syntax:

platform.uname()

No parameters are required.


Example: Program to display the system information.

#displaying system information
print("System Information:",platform.uname())
