Description: 

    The python_branch() returns a string that identifies the Source Code Manager(SCM)  branch. SCM is a tool used by programmers to manage the source code, it is used to track revisions in software. The way we apply the source code management tool to our development environment is known as the usage model.


Syntax:

platform.python_branch()

No parameters are required.


Example: Program to display the python SCM information.
